Profile Information

UrFU Institute of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship was formed on the basis of two academic unis: the Institute of Management and Business and the Faculty of Public Relations and Advertising.

The Institute of Management and Business was founded in 1997 to train managerial personnel and provide consultation for various institutions and organizations. Today more than 2000 students, undergraduate and postgraduate study on full-time and part-time programs here; more than a thousand managers upgrade their professional skills and undergo refresher courses.

The Faculty of Public Relations and Advertising was established in 1998 basing on the concept of integrated communications; activities of the department reflect modern professional standards. The real market situation in the region forms the foundation of the curriculum. In particular, integrated marketing communications require merging all communication means in one unique complex including marketing, advertising, promotion, public relations, internal communications etc.

Today’s mission of the Institute is to provide modernization by training a new generation of leaders and specialists of public administration, social service and business, supporting the work of government bodies, enterprises, institutions and research organizations by consultations, development of modern communication, management and social technologies.

Many graduates of the Institute successfully work in the spheres of public administration, business management and entrepreneurship.
