Mined-land of Sverdlovskaya oblast is the object of research, legislative regulation of mined-land reclamation is the subject of research. The survey on legislation of mined-land reclamation that is performed in the article allows defining the number of practical proposals, including toughen sanctions against the breach of duty of mined-land reclamation; the supplementation of municipal government general plans with laws on mined-land that require reclamation; the legislative recognition of extension of mined-land monitoring investigations after the mined-land is delivered under reclamation project; mined-land inspections and creation of the unified data base, the use of which has to be fixed in the law; the determination of the list of project documentation and engineering surveys on mined-land reclamation; the reclaimed objects handover to the Department of environmental resources and the admission of V class waste for mined-land reclamation in Sverdlovskaya oblast.
