Abstract

The article analyzes the process of forging of a cellular titanium implant made of titanium alloy. The aim of this paper is to estimate the distribution of stresses and deformations in this type of test for a cellular material equipped with pores of square section. The compression load was modeled by the finite element method using the ABAQUS software suite. The distribution of the degree of deformation and the mean (hydrostatic) stress is calculated in two variants of calculation in the absence and presence of radii of the fillets of the cell profile. It is concluded that 3D printing of a material with cells in which the jumpers intersect at right angles is not permissible, which gives rise to a concentration of strains and stresses.
