Abstract

The author explores the space in Vyacheslav Ivanov's poetry, so organized that its subjectness gradually turns into its own self, as if shifting from the material sphere where there exists the possibility of movement into the sphere of incorporeal existence, where the extensive outer movement ceases, actualizing the new i nner i deal dynamics. The author analyzes the emerging effect of “movement in immobility”, or even “motionless movement” when its subject, the lyrical hero, though being at rest, preserves the capability to ascend to a more and more perfect state of his own and the world's being. For their research, the author employs the method of phenomenological analysis made with reference to poems from various books by Vyacheslav Ivanov.
