Abstract

This article is devoted to a review of the optical system for measuring the solution of rolls on a continuous casting machine. The main factors affecting the quality of the products and actual devices for its control are considered. The composition and the device of this system are described. The main principles of the measurement algorithm are described, which uses a system of technical vision in the form of a camera and laser illumination. The main technical characteristics and advantages of the developed system are shown.
