The paper concentrates on the methods of modelling the process of forming using an elastic punch in the PAM-STAMP 2G software package for two major vehicle body parts - inside surface of a hood and a fender. The obtained values of equivalent stress in the workpiece, thinning degree and possible defects make it possible to modify the process and stamp designing and quickly check all modifications.
