Abstract
The principles of circular economy are actively replacing the linear approach, while they can be implemented in relation to both materials, products, services, logistics, design and individual industries and territories. However, for the successful implementation of this concept, a systematic approach is needed to describe and analyze the current situation, as well as to model and implement the necessary transformations. This article discusses models that, in our opinion, contribute to the application and implementation of the principles of circular economy in the practical plane. These models include: Pro-Circular Change Model, the model of "urban metabolism" and the model of "eco-industrial parks". The paper considers these models in the context of the possibility of their application for the implementation of the principles of circular economy. The conclusions obtained in the article allow us to clarify the theoretical foundations of the tools for the implementation of the circular economy.
