A study was made of the accumulation of anthropogenic radionuclides 90Sr and 134,137Cs in a marsh frog at various observation points of the Beloyarsk Reservoir (cooling reservoir of the Beloyarsk nuclear enterprise) in comparison with the control reservoir (Verkhnetagil Reservoir). The variability of individual morphological indicators and concentrations of radionuclides in adult amphibians of the studied water bodies was noted. An abnormally high contamination of 134Cs and 137Cs of one frog from the industrial flood channel of the Beloyarsky Reservoir was revealed, which could be due to the contact of the animal with the radioactive medium in the area of the nuclear plant. It has been established that at present, at some observation points of the Beloyarsk Reservoir, the levels of accumulation of 90Sr and 137Cs are significantly higher than in the control reservoir. The concentration of radionuclides in frogs is much lower than the permissible level for amphibians.
