Abstract
The article offers a review of answers submitted to a questionnaire formulated by the editorial board of the journal, aiming to reveal the main directions and results of onomastic material field collection in Russia, with 31 research centres of Russia responding to the questionnaire. Though not exhaustive, the data help draw a picture of the state of things in field research achievements and gaps.
