The article considers the methodological premises and theoretical justifications of an “ontological turn” in modern social theory. A new ontology of social and human cognition is described. The implications of the renewal that ontology undergoes due to novel description of sociality and its analysis are discussed. In this study, the author relies on the main principles of Actor-Network theory (B. Latour) and Assemblage theory (M. De Landa).
