The article notes that to control the temperature distribution at the stock in blast furnaces, thermovision images are used, followed by automated processing of the information received. It has been experimentally established and computational and analytical studies have shown that in the blast furnace shaft there is a horizon at a depth of 3-5 m below the level of the fill, where the greatest sensitivity of the method for controlling irregularities in temperature fields is observed.
