Presents results of a study of the functional state of the Central nervous system (CNS) and the temperamental characteristics of athletes-soccer players aged 11-12 years in their relationship with physical activity. In the analysis reflected those features, which are characteristic for the young athletes of team sports. It was found that for a sample of young players is more important for the success of the implemented activities are: the speed and stability of response of visual-motor reactions, resistance and concentration, type of nervous system. There is a direct correlation between the level of emotional instability personality and responsiveness (r=0,62). Increasing the level of neuroticism leads to a decrease in stability and concentration (r=0.56).
