Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the bow of Dmitry Karamazov to Katerina Ivanovna in novel of F. M. Dostoevsky «The Brothers Karamazov». This bow is considered in connection with the symbolic content of gestures in author's creations. This gesture is expression of tense psychological condition of character, his nature and his attitude to the world.
