It has been determined that the basis of security mechanism in this area is full information about the features of house sharing in different countries, while such data can be obtained through the exchange of information on house sharing practices between state authorities on the base of interstate cooperation mechanisms in tourism. The author determined, that for Russia, rapprochement on this issue with ASEAN will be most relevant taking into account the specifics of its external relations. The author comes to the conclusion that the domestic law regulation of house sharing in Russia through the adoption of a federal law defining the specifics of house sharing as a civil law transaction will protect the interests of tourists coming to Russia and promote a positive image of Russia abroad.
