The paper is devoted to issues of development efficiency increase and maintenance of standard automated quality management processes of metallurgical products. Traditionally design and introduction of automated processes of product quality improvement require the system analysis of these processes, building the “as is” and “to be” models, definition of the information system requirements as well as its implementation and introduction. The best practices of IT service management (ITSM) are proposed as “to be” model basis of metallurgical product quality management processes for reducing the laboriousness of development and maintenance of software designed to the quality management of metallurgical products. We propose the set of scenarios of quality improving processes in the fields of technology, logistics and organizational processes. The scenario of technological incidents´ solution is provided. BPM system Bizagi is proposed as a tool for the implementation of automated quality management web system. This decision allowed to reduce the system development time and provided facilities for its rapid modernization during the changes of business processes.
