Abstract

The research is devoted tothe use of built-in toolsof simulation systemPlant Simulationby Siemens - bottleneck analyzer and Gantt wizard, which designed to analyze and improve the time performance of logistics, technology and business processes. The research was based on developed pilot simulation models ofthe processing andconverter departments of metallurgical manufacture. It is shown examples of using bottleneck analyzer and Gantt wizardto highlight the problem operations of processes and develop proposals for their improvement. There is the necessity of performing a certain amount of low-level programming to model development. The necessity of performing a certain amount of low-level programming model development. It is shown that with the use of the reviewed tools can be obtained a significant improvement in the quality of processes in comparisonwith the original values.
