Problems and perspectives of teaching children from migrants’ families in Sverdlovsk region are pointed out. Data on the main migration streams (Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Kirgizia etc.), relations of migrants with their Russian classmates are given. Questions of organization of the process of teaching Russian and problems connected with acquisition of Russian culture are discussed.
