Abstract
The author discusses the questions of the interaction between the spatial and plot organization of the poorly studied emigrant novel “Flight to the North” by K. Mann, considers the phenomenon of emigration space, which structurally repeats the space of a classical myth, formed up by concentric circles, and in value sense is diametrically opposite to it; basing on the analysis of the route and motivation of a heroine’s movement in this space concludes that the novel plot is formed by the features of its artistic space, and for the first time considers K. Mann’s novel in the genre context of the German emigrant novel.
