Abstract
This article is devoted to the political culture of Russia. The author tells about the necessity to study this phenomenon from the position of sociology. Political culture of Russia is considered as a process with the elements of spontaneous development. This article provides the definitions of the process and its characteristics. The author presents the personal definition of political culture. The author also defines the direction of Russian political culture development by studying it in the frames of historical society development.
