Now the role of modeling in the life of a modern person is quite large. With it, you can predict the consequences of a particular activity, make specific plans for the future, and make informed decisions. In this article, the model of the construction chain of stories has been developed, that delivers goods from a warehouse to the particular city (Yekaterinburg, Kamensk-Uralsky, Nizhny Tagil). Drivers deliver goods using trucks. For the developed model, a series of experiments, in which the number of trucks was changed from 16 to 20, was carried out. For each series of experiments, the following indicators were calculated: 1) the percentage of orders completed (the ratio of the number of completed orders to the number of received orders * 100?%); 2) the average load of one truck (arithmetic mean of the load); 3) the total earning of drivers; 4) the average earning of one driver per day shift during the simulation period; 5) average driver’s earnings per night shift during the simulation time. The optimal number of trucks has been determined, i. e. the number of trucks at which the construction chain of stores has the best performance (percentage of completed orders and the total earnings of drivers); this value is 20.
