The problem of creating a modern educational space is considered as one of the conditions for improving the quality of education. The relevance of the presented problem is due to the need for modern school classrooms, which plays an important psychological and social role for schoolchildren. To solve this problem, such a method as the renovation of schools is shown, representing the "revival" or transformation of the property (that is the buildings of the schools themselves). When implementing development projects, renovation allows to create a healthy learning space and improve the learning process through the introduction of new technologies. The working hypothesis of solving the problem is that the renovation of schools improves the level of education through the development of real estate and the creation of the necessary educational space that improves the opportunities and quality of education. Domestic and foreign experience of renovation application as a way of schools transformation is considered. Development projects of new foreign schools, which serve as a benchmark for the development of concepts of "new schools", are also presented. On the basis of the analysis of the considered projects of renovation of schools advantages of renovation from the point of view of its application to educational institutions were allocated. Such as the emergence of a new approach to learning, improving the rating of the school, the attraction of new students, the introduction of new technologies, happy children and happy teachers, the "revival" of the district. The possibilities, the implementation of which contributed to the renovation, proved the hypothesis. In addition to the study, we modeled the interior of a modern school for prototyping, based on the renovation projects studied. The conclusion is made about the ability of renovation to increase the level of education of students and create an impetus to their further social and educational development. The article raises the problem of education and offers an informed solution through real estate development. The results of the study can contribute to the development of renovation in the field of transformation of educational institutions in order to improve the quality of education.
