Abstract

The urgency of the nuclear power plants thermal effluent reduction problem is substantiated. Different variants of the thermal pump inclusion into the circuit of the steam turbine main condenser are considered. The algorithm of the thermal pumps use efficiency estimation is described. The analysis of the thermal pumps use efficiency in the steam turbine main condenser circuit of the fast breeder reactor NPP is made. The estimation of the reduction of the NPP heat load on the environment by thermal pumps application is made.
