Abstract
The article reveals the features of social inequality of medical service system in the rural areas. Reducing number of the medical service institutions in the rural areas has led to a fact that medical care to rural inhabitants is limited. Absence of the medical specialists, limited quotas for free medical service, outdated medical equipment in the medical service institutions become factors of dissatisfaction with the obtaining medical service by the rural inhabitants. Implemented government programs aimed at increasing the access of medical service require improvement on regional and local levels.
