Abstract

FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of a gas-tight solid oxide tubular electrolyte with ionic conductivity, which can be used in the manufacture of various electrochemical devices, such as solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC), electrolyzers, etc. Method includes plasma spraying of particles of ceramic material with a plasma jet on a removable mandrel by molding monolayers, plasma spraying is carried out with particles of an oxide ceramic material with ionic conductivity followed by vacuum impregnation of the obtained porous tubular electrolyte with a solution in which the cations are taken in the same ratio as the material being sprayed. Vacuum impregnation of the tubular electrolyte is repeated until gas density is achieved, using intermediate drying or low-temperature annealing at the decomposition temperature of the salt solution, after which the tubular electrolyte is sintered at the phase formation temperature. EFFECT: obtaining a gas-tight solid oxide tubular element in a simpler way.
