Abstract
FIELD: technological processes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for longitudinal rolling of tubes at automatic mill and tandem mill. Longitudinal rolling of pipes in two passes is performed with tensioning in rolls with calibers on short cylinder-conical mandrel, wherein pipe before rolling is given ovality with ratio of large axis of oval section to its smaller axis in range from 1.15 to 1.25, and rolling is performed with passage of greater axis of pipe oval section through tops of gages, as well as in first and second passes with coefficient of kinematic tension of not more than 1.1. EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of increasing drawing coefficient at rolling at automatic mill and "tandem" mill.
