Abstract
In the article the author makes an attempt to comprehend the polyglottism phenomenon in religious orthodox communication in the Internet. The compliance with the principles of cooperation and collaboration, the absence of facts of speech aggression are determined by the religious world outlook of communicants. Social heterogeneity of orthodox community determines the blending in the speech of communicators linguistic means of different "imaginary communities": slavonicisms, high, bookish vocabulary and substandard vocabulary, slang words, borrowings.
