For the first time the content of corporate media of the Greater Urals of the late XIX - early XX century is analyzed. The media were subsidized by the industrial commercial unions and consumer societies. Their historical features are revealed; it is shown how the corporate character of these publications was manifested. Special attention is paid to the problems and functional purpose of this press segment.
