This article is the logical continuation of the article by S. V. Frants and E. A. Dubrovskaya «The genesis of the concept of “consciousness” in the history of philosophy: from Antiquity till New time». There are the transformations of the idea of consciousness in classical and non-classical philosophy. The authors prove that the idea of the public consciousness appeared with the help of G. V. F. Gegel and the idea of the generic consciousness - to L. Feyerbakh, K. Marks and F. Engels emphasized the importance of the labor to the forming of the consciousness and its class nature. In the post-classical philosophy of the XX century distinguished three main schools of studying the consciousness, which have its new specific visions.
