GENERAL INTERACTIVE TRAP SYSTEM MODEL FOR THERMO LUMINESCENCE OF AL 2O 3:C SINGLE CRYSTALS

Abstract

Modified kinetic model of interactive trap system describing F center thermoluminescence (TL) mechanism in Al 2O 3:C single crystals is presented. The model is based on the experimental results of the research into deep trap effect on the crystal radiation sensitivity, with crystals having various half-widths of the TL peak. The mechanism of dosimetric and shallow traps interactive connection is proposed. It shows that interactive processes of interaction between traps of various types are universal characteristics typical of Al 2O 3:C single crystals.
