INDIVIDUALISED LEARNING TRAJECTORIES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF MANAGERS IN THE ENERGY SECTOR: chapter in book

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterResearchpeer-review

Abstract

The chapter presents the results of research on the processes of individualisation in corporate training for managers. The authors used a competency-based approach to develop a model of an individualised learning trajectory that is actualised in a digital information environment in the course of self-learning. The chapter considers methodological tools and a system of indicators for building individualised learning trajectories. It shows how methodological tools could be used to build an individualised learning trajectory in two opposite directions: from the perspective of the interests of the worker and from the perspective of the interest of the energy company. The authors concentrate on the sequence of steps and methodological mechanisms for designing the process of individualisation in the development of professionalism. Requirements are considered that are applicable to an individualised trajectory of corporate development as a process of self-learning. The chapter analyses possible variants of individualised trajectories and their integration into and application for improving management effectiveness in the energy business. A summary of the research results allowed for producing recommendations to use the individualised trajectory method for human resource development in energy companies.
