Resumen
The article describes the use of simulation to analyze the logistical processes of the meltshop. The aim of the survey is to choose the way of melt´s feed into the shop in order to reduce the melt processing time depending on the type of melt route. A limitation of the problem is to avoid the waiting of the melt spill on a continuous casting machine for more than 15 minutes. To solve this problem the multi-agent simulation model has been developed with the use of a models creation module of the metallurgical enterprise information system. The following solution has been found as a result of experiments via optimization module of the metallurgical enterprise information system. When using melt´s grouping routes at the meltshop entrance, the average time spent in the queue before the continuous casting machine and, accordingly, the average processing time of melt in the meltshop are reduced; other output indicators of meltshop´s work change slightly. Application of the found recommendations in practice will improve the efficiency of the meltshop
