Resumen

In the experiment studied the effects of iodine baths, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) and their combination on the development of experimental silicosis in laboratory rats. Against the background of silikosis found that the effect of iodine baths and PEMF to some extent normalize the content of thyroid hormone changes during silicosis. Closest to the normal pattern of hormonal levels in affected animals was observed after a course of combined effects of magnetic and iodine baths. It can be assumed that the gain of increased potentiation effects investigated factors in their combined effect is caused by the thyroid gland: if PEMF stimulates it, iodine baths allow the body to support such an activated state without iodine deficiency, required for the synthesis thyroid hormones. The mechanism of potentiation presumably disclose experiments in vitro.
