The monograph is devoted to the problem of updating humanism in сontemporary philosophy and social theory. Referring to the different aspects of understanding humanism: conceptual, ethical, level of political practice, and technological solutions, the authors try to answer the question of what is happening with modern concepts of a human and of the ways of his/our self-understanding. Depending on how and who will answer this question contingent on the political strategies and popular culture, everyday morality, and global ideas about what is permissible and unacceptable.
