Resumen

Statement of the problem. To identify problem-based learning as a means of cognitive activity development of students. To characterize problem-based learning, its new forms and modern means of education in the conditions of informatization of education. Results. On the bases of scientific publications on cognitive activity of students and problem-based learning of foreign and Russian researchers the authors of the paper define problem-based learning with information-communication technologies. The analyses of the main aspects, requirements, functions of problem-based learning and cognitive activity of students gives an opportunity to form main stages of problem-based learning with information-communication technologies. The paper emphasizes advantages and disadvantages of education of this type. Conclusion. The results of questioning of students and lecturers demonstrate that problem-based learning with information-communication technologies increases motivation of student and productivity of education.
