From the researching positions of the problems relating to professional socialization of the studying youth, the authors discuss the problems about continuity of generations in the sphere of labor experience and morality in the conditions and means of the parents' families, about the transformation of this process in the conditions of the social and economic crisis and the transition to market relations. The conclusions and suggestions of the authors are based on the results of the complex studies conducted by them (with their leadership and with their personal participation) in 1969-2000. in different regions of the USSR and Russia, in particular in the cities and settlements of the Orenburg region and in the YNAA.
