Resumen
The article discusses the concept of «classics» in the XXth century art by analyzing contemporary stage dance. The autho compare the definitionof classics, neo-classicism and modern given in the referencebooks and the works of French and American dance historians. The article puts forward the definition of «classics» based on the new understanding of corporality which can be traced back to F. Nietzsche's works.
