Resumen

The monograph deals with transformation processes in the labor sphere caused by the digital economy development and considers social pollution from the economic activity of business entities. The authors summarize the results of a long-term monitoring study of the labor relations transformation in several countries with different economic models. They analyze the impact of changes in labor relations and human resource management practices on the health and well-being of workers, propose methodological approaches to assessing the social pollution level and its socio-economic consequences for workers and enterprises. The contribution to developing the knowledge system about the phenomenon of social pollution from the economic activity of economic entities and the impact of transformational processes in the labor sphere on the well-being of workers was supplemented by empirical research done by the authors´ team with the focus on the changes in labor relations in the context of restrictive measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis. The monograph intents for scientists, graduate students, job seekers, business leaders, and specialists dealt with labor economics and human resource management.
