ЯЗЫКОВОЙ ОБРАЗ СВЯЩЕННОСЛУЖИТЕЛЯ В РУССКОЙ И ПОЛЬСКОЙ ТРАДИЦИЯХ (РУС. ПОП, ПОЛЬСК. KSIąDZ)

The article provides the analysis of the semantic derivatives Rus. pop, Pol. ksiądz in the Russian and Polish language traditions (common language and dialects), phraseology and paremiology with these words. On the base of this analysis, the author highlights the main features of the linguistic image cleric in both languages: the characteristic appearance, moral and ethical characteristics, especially domestic order and other ones. There is a note of similarities and differences in the perception of cleric in these two language cultures.
