The main idea of the implemented Project was the creation of a nonequilibrium statistical model of living cells. Originally, a model of the ion transport subsystem through the membrane has been constructed, based on physical and chemical laws. In the first approximation, only the stationary state of a living cell has been modeled. The next stage was the problem of modeling homeostasis - the ability of living cells to maintain the state of the internal environment when external changes - using methods of biological cybernetics. Accordingly, the model has been supplemented by regulatory transport systems of the most important (in terms of the degree of influence on the potential) ions. The second objective of the Project was to simulate the directed movement of a minimal cell. An algorithm for multi-agent modeling of strategies of directional movements that could be implemented in the early stages of evolution has been developed.
