Resumo

The article analyzes the style of Yekaterinburg’s jeweler Alexey Popov based on his series of jewelry rings «The streets of Sverdlovsk are familiar and close to us» inspired by the well-known heritage buildings of Yekaterinburg (formerly Sverdlovsk). This choice of theme is currently relevant considering the approaching 300th anniversary of Ekaterinburg. It also gives a possibility to realize a synthesis of inter-species relations and reveal interaction between architectural images and jewelry artworks.
