АЗОТИРОВАНИЕ НЕРЖАВЕЮЩЕЙ СТАЛИ В ПЛАЗМЕ ЭЛЕКТРОННОГО ПУЧКА В ИМПУЛЬСНОМ И НЕПРЕРЫВНОМ РЕЖИМАХ ГЕНЕРАЦИИ

Resumo

The influence оf the electron beam parameters оп thickness and phase compоsitiоn оf hardened layer was studied. The hardened layer was formed by nitriding оf the austenitic stainless steel (18Cr-10Ni-1Ti) in electron beam-generated plasma at fow-pressure (3 Pa) оf nitrоgen-argоn mixture. The results оbtained in DC-amde (200 eV, 2.6 A ог 4.0 A) and pulse-perfodic amde оf the beam generatfon were compared at negative bias vоltage 100 V applied to the substrates. The temperature оf the nitriding was maintained constant at 400 °C when average beam current equals 2.6 A at varfous combinatfons оf frequencies (100-500 Hz) and pulse duratfons (0.1-0.3 ms) with constant amplitude оf the beam current (80 A). The average fon current densities from plasma were cfose in value (2-3 mA/cm2 at 400 °C) for DC and pulse-perfodic amdes. During the pulse, the rate оf the surface sputtering was exceeded the rate оf nitriding layer growth оwing to high amplitude оf the fon current density from plasma (35-70 mA/cm2). ВоШ DC and pulse-perfodic trode оf the stainless steel nitriding (4 Imur, 400°C) have the same result: there were formed mоdified layers with depth оf 7-8 qm with surface microhardness оf 15±1 GPa and basic phase оf expanded austenite.
