The article discusses the impact of different types of arc welding in an inert gas on the occurrence of welding residual stresses and strains. Produced welding plates various types of welding in equal conditions fixing. Made mathematical modeling of welding processes used in experimental studies. A comparative analysis showed that the difference between computational methods and experimental data is less than five percent. These studies have shown that the level of the transverse and angular deformation (displacement) is minimal when plasma welding.
