The article deals with the analysis of the genre of reportage functioning in a blog - one of the key participatory journalism forms. To define the genre and linguo-stylistic peculiarities of internet-reportage, which takes the form of a publication with many photographs accompanied by comments, the author consistently reveals the means of expression of the genre forming features in the Live Journal materials by Rustem Adagamov: the eventfulness, the effect of presence and the reporter’s “ego”. The article dwells in detail on the components of the category of eventfulness as consisting of the following: event, time and place, participants and observer; it reveals the grammatical and textual means of creation of the effect of presence and the grammatical, lexico-syntactical and lexical means of representation of the reporter’s “ego”. As a result of the analysis, the author points out, that the internet-reportage in a blog keeps all the invariant genre features, and characterizes their transformations. The texts of blog publications display the importance of traditional linguistic means, which play the leading role in representation of events and the author’s ego; nevertheless, the use of signs of other semiotic systems is still important. The results of the investigation help to extend the analysis of the genre of reportage functioning in the sphere of Internet-communication and in areas outside professional journalism, and may be applied to researches of mass media genres in general and participatory journalism in particular.
