FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hard and wear-resistant metal-ceramic tool materials based on tungsten carbides, titanium, tantalum with cobalt binder cementing carbide. Carbide grains have a spherical shape with size of 0.1 to 1 mcm. Each carbide grain is surrounded by a layer of cementing binder with thickness from 0.01 to 0.1 mcm. EFFECT: higher strength of fine-grained structure of alloy to strength of coarse-grained structure while maintaining high hardness and wear resistance of fine-grained structure.
