Resumo

The article shows the impact of digitalization on the characteristics of banking services, summarizes estimates of the development of the banking industry in 2020 and the crisis period, and identifies trends that determine the development of the sector. Based on empirical data, we suggest ways to improve the efficiency and quality of banking services, which strengthen the customer orientation of regional banks by creating value for consumers and focusing on internal customers- employees
