Known methods of thermodynamic and kinetic analysis, and also data on the me- chanism of separate stages of heterogeneous reactions in the simulation of manual arc weld- ing do not provide sufficiently adequate model of the process and use it for further calcula- tions. This is due, primarily, with the speed and short duration of flow of interaction, and the inability to reliably estimate the area of the interaction. It was therefore proposed a physical and mathematical model of the process of manual arc welding, based on a complete mass balance of each of the elements in each phase.
