Прогнозирование численности прародителей (бабушек, дедушек) в России в условиях ограниченности информационных ресурсов

Grandparenthood is considered in the paper as a mechanism for the effective implementation of the resource potential of older people. The authors developed and implemented a methodology for forecasting the number of Russian grandparents. It consists of two parts: methodology for predicting the number of potential grandparents in general and active grandparents (involved in the care and upbringing of grandchildren) in particular. The two parts of the methodology involve different sources of information and have their own characteristics, which are described in detail in the paper. The use of the methods allowed us to make a forecast of the growth of the number of both potential and active grandparents in Russia. The methodological value of the study is the development of demographic forecasting, and the practical value is the potential relevance of these results to strengthen information support for the implementation of the national project «Demography».
