ЦИФРОВОЙ РУБЛЬ КАК СРЕДСТВО ПРОТИВОДЕЙСТВИЯ ТЕНЕВОЙ ЭКОНОМИКЕ В РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ

The shadow economy in Russia and a number of foreign countries is considered. The relevance of the fight against the shadow economy is shown. Its negative impact on both the state and individuals is discussed. The income inequality in Russia by population groups is examined. Based on the study of various statistical sources, the size of the shadow economy in Russia is analyzed. The comparison is carried out. The opinions of Russians are presented by means of sociological surveys on the topic of gray wages. An assessment of the popularity of cash and non-cash money is given. Their comparison is carried out. The characteristic of the digital ruble is given based on its concept of the Bank of Russia. The main positive qualities of the digital ruble have been identified, which in the future may contribute to the leveling of the shadow sector in Russia. In general, the role of digitalization and its relevance in all spheres of life is reflected. The readiness of the Russian society for information technologies, taking into account digital literacy, is shown.
