The physical properties of the alloy X20H80 in the liquid state have been studied. Critical temperatures were defined, the heating above which allows the melt to be transferred to a microhomogeneous equilibrium state. The regime of time-tem- perature treatment of liquid metal was proposed and was tested in industrial conditions. The use of this regime results in a change in the band structure of the ingot viz. a more even distribution of the alloy properties values its cross-section. The relative elongation of the alloy significantly increased (by 15…20%) while the strength characteristics and the contraction ratio did not change at temperatures of hot plastic deformation. The density and resistivity increased after deformation in the experimental metal which indicates an increase in the homogeneity of the alloy. TVO of the metal yield makes for the increase from 66.8 to 72.3% the metal yield after hot plastic deformation.
