Industrial methods for production of shaped tubes having a wall thickness of a variable cross-section have been analyzed. Tube grades typical for these methods were examined. Their characteristic advantages and disadvantages are discussed. It was found out that the most efficient method for production of tubes made of hardly-deformed materials was the drawing with use of profile tools.
